Nice book!!!

I hope Lisa Lam decides to write some more books with patterns for children's clothes. I first came across her books when I made a bag from The Bag Making Bible, highly recommended. Her books are very well written and easy to follow with loads of colourful pictures and instructions. This book is exactly that and the dress I made from it looked beautiful. It did take me a little while but I did follow it to the letter and wasn't disappointed.

This is advertised as a simple dress pattern that can be made in an evening. Took me 4 months! Had mother and mother in law helping at various stages to decipher the steps. They both agreed not simple. Muddled through tho and very happy with final article, which daughter wore 2 times before it was too small!

Lovely pattern. Bought for my granddaughter Instructions are very clear. Thought pieces were missing at first. Then realised that you make your own skirt pattern piece ( just an oblong.) Would recommend for a beginner.

How could you not love this little book , the patterns are great ,the details are clearly given , l am a beginner at using a sewing machine , so l will enjoy making these easy to make dresses. such good value .
