It has a redesigned carabiner with more clearance, making it even easier to attach to a wider variety of things. Plus, it supports firmware updates and EQ customization through the JBL app—something the Clip 4 doesn’t offer. The Clip 5 also gets just a bit louder, which is nice if you’re using it outdoors or in noisier environments. Overall, the Clip 4 is still a fantastic speaker and a great value—but the Clip 5 edges it out in a few meaningful ways.

Perfect little travel speaker! Cute and not too heavy to add to your everyday backpack. The clip makes it super easy to clip to the outside of your bag so you can listen with ease and without having to set your speaker on the ground or table or whatever... keeps it safely attached to your belongings and safe. The volume and sound are excellent and enough for what I need on a beach trip. Opened the package and connected to bluetooth immediately! Easy peasy and quite pleased with this purchase!

Perfect for outdoor adventures. ✅ Battery Life – Lasts a solid 10 hours on a full charge, which is more than enough for a day out. Cons: ❌ No AUX Input – Would be nice to have a 3.5mm jack for wired connections, but Bluetooth works flawlessly. Final Thoughts: If you need a compact, durable, and powerful speaker for travel, hikes, or just chilling at home, this is a no-brainer. JBL nailed it with the Clip 4, and I’d definitely buy it again!
