What is the best choice for someone who colored their hair brown but would like to remove green tone?

To tone down green. You want to cross the color wheel and go with a red tone

This shampoo isn’t going to lighten your hair; however, it deposits color pigment. You might see some lighter color highlights in the sun. Definitely worth a try. I’ve used both a red base and blonde base.

I do not believe this is a substitute for a temporary hair color. I am a naturally darkish grey, I have my hair bleached white. My hairdresser recommended this shampoo to keep my roots white when my hair grows out. My hair also tends to bring out yellow tones and this shampoo keeps my hair a very nice white. I think it is meant to bring out the highlights you already have
