It is a good buy for the price and the duvet and the shams isn't that slippery material that end up on the floor by the end of the night. To me it has a nice feel with nice low sheen and seems that it is able to handle kids activeness and or should clean up easily if they make a mess.For those that are unfamiliar with what a duvet is. It will come in a small box that will look like a two sided sheet with a zipper (which I am feeling isn't gonna last long). What I did order was a king duvet for a queen bed. Which I like doing because it gives more coverage. However. I had a queen sized Ralph Lauren down comforter that was fading from years of washing, but was still in very good shape. That comforter is what I used in the duvet and it turned out perfect. So remember if the blanket ur putting in the duvet is thin.. it's going to be thin and light since the one I used was down filled and heavy. It gave it good shape and added heavyness to the duvet for more of a comfort feel.I would recommend to others that have children.
