I was also hoping for something easy to clean because I have a dog that sheds a lot. I spend most of my time in this room. The reviews.on this rug were more mixed than I liked, but I decided to take the risk and I'm (so far) really glad I did. I really like the look of this rug! I didn't notice any quality issues out of the package and it laid flat right away. I bought a 1/3" felt rug pad to go underneath, which is better than what I had previously, and Find it to be very cushioning. Love the look and colors in my grey/neutral room. I am not big on bright colors and busy patterns but this rug still feels neutral and to me looks a lot more expensive than it is. It is more like a floor cloth than a rug because it has no pile at all. It is completely flat, which I really like! I looked at so many rugs online but kept coming back to this one. The colors go very well with my oak floors and beige and white color scheme. I think the rug will be worth the price if it holds up well.
