I'm glad I found perfect bars. I needed to add more. protein to my diet since having surgery and this is the only one protein bar that doesn't cause digestive issues! I have since decided to go with an Amazon subscription to save a bit on the cost, simply because I do love them they are so yummy and my tummy likes them as does my wallet. The only one I've tried is the peanut butter chocolate chip. It's really good, especially if you like peanutter butter.

Although this is a review of the dark chocolate chip peanut butter bar, I've come to prefer the plain old peanut butter bar. It has more protein (17 g pb vs 15 g dccpb) and a cleaner taste. The packaging problems that caused my complaints last summer have been eliminated, for now. I'll have to see how things go when warm weather returns. Amazon is currently selling these at slightly above half the usual retail price, a deal too good to overlook. The bars contain no bad ingredients, like sugar alcohols. They even provide decent amounts of fiber and calcium (exact amounts depend on the flavor chosen). Nutritionally, the only bad aspect of the bars is their high sugar content. My gut has had problems with almost all the protein bars available, usually because of the presence of sugar alcohols or whey protein or both. I've been happily consuming these without any gastrointestinal problems for over five years. At Amazon's current price, they are bargains. I recommend them without reservation.

These are vey tasty and large! They are very dense peanut butter so ensure you love peanut butter before buying. They absolutely need to be refrigerated but they are better cold as the peanut butter gets oily when at room temperature. Great sweet treat to keep in the house because it's clean ingredients and taste like a dessert.

A little more expensive than some but my husband likes them. They arrive with cold packs but ours had already defrosted by the time we got the delivery. These bars must be refrigerated.
