These are well made 'one-piece' construction and not likely to break anytime soon. But note, "15.5cm" is just slightly over 6 inches so "generous length" is subjective. But perfect size for retrieving toast and other 'small' jobs.

They work as promised and, besides, they are beautifully crafted. You can see the grain of the wood and they look more expensive than they are.
