What's the difference between 907 vs 801 ??

801 is a 2 part glazing putty; this requires a catalyst (included). The advantage is the 2 part (2k) 801 will not swell or absorb solvents from the primer/top coat applied over and 'less likely' shrink over time. The 907 is a 1k product and 'likely' will absorb the solvents, swell, and shrink back revealing sand scratches/pinholes.

The 801 is superior than the 907 in every way. I occasionally use the 801, after using other  glazes (icing/eazy sand/platinum glaze et0c., to fill in left over pin holes and minor sand scratches with zero shrink back; I find it to be much finer than other glazes. However, this item/oz is pricier than the better name brands glazes I mentioned previously. Anyhow, the 907 is acceptable, just hit it with some heat and let it cure much longer than specified (might need another application after htting it with heat, you will see some shrink back). Where 907 is used, hit it with a sealer to reduce the probability of solvent absorption from the topcoat.

Question 2

I have curbed rims, my plan is to fill in the curbed zone then sand and plastidip the rims to cover, would this work?

I used it for that exact reason. Worked perfectly. I'd just recommend that you do small amounts at a time it drys fast. If you put a lot it could take a while to dry. Other then that, it works like a charm.

Question 3

I have a deep scratch in my bumper.  Is this all the fill I would need or do I need something prior? Thx

Deep scratch is relative.  As long as the scratch has not cut completely through the bumper, the glazing compound should work fine.  File down all high spots.  Use an auto putty spreader.  Use thin multiple applications as opposed to a single application.  Wet sand.

Question 4

My side view mirror cover fell & crack.  can i use this putty to fix this?  what sand paper should i use as well?  thanks

For surface finishing before painting it will work, but for the plastic fracture it will not work. You may have to find a glue to fix that.
