will it mortise cut door jambs for hinges too?

I haven't needed to do a door jam, yet. I was replacing existing doors only. That said, I would think it would allow for cutting door jams as well with the door stop removed. The door stop would keep the router from getting close enough to make a cut.

Will it work with a router with a gide bushing.

No guide bushing is required. The included router bit has a ball bearing guide attached, that works with the template, to cut perfectly rounded corners.

I would like to know if this will work for door latchs (also knowen as a back set) and door strikes with 1/4" radius ?

Yes, the kit has a template for this standard size to route, roughly 1/8" deep, recess for the 1" x 2 1/4" with 1/4" radius faceplate. If your door does not already have the hole for the plunger, you will need another jig to drill this and to drill the hole for the door knob (one jig does both so they align square).

Could this tool be used on a door that is 1-1/4" thick?

The durable steel frame with adjustable cams allows for 1-3/4” and 1-3/8” door settings. Unfortunately, It does not have a 1-1/4" setting.
