Review: So much room! - Ordered this for my 3rd grader to have packed lunches this year. I love the two compartments. I put the snacks on the top and cold foods on the bottom. Plenty of room to fill with enough food for a growing kid. It came with a plastic container for the bottom, but we haven't used it. It is however a good quality container that would be great for a large sandwich or leftovers. Been using it for two months now and it's holding up great. I appreciate the inside being easy to wipe clean also.

The lunchbag was still in worn but excellent condition. I went ahead and upgraded him to a plain design so the 5th graders would stop asking why there were sharks on his lunchbag. The other one would have kept going for many more years. Zippers were in great shape and I just throw it in the wash when needed. The new one is same durable quality and design so I expect it will last for a ver long time as well. And being that it is plain solid color, he can take it to college with him in 8 years if he wants. I use the bottom of this lunch box for lunch, and the top for snacks and drinks. It's large without being to big to fit in their backpacks. The multiple compartments are great if you have a hot thermos and cold sides too so you can separate them. I love these lunchboxes.

**Q: Are both the top and bottom sections insulated? Would I be able to pack hot foods (hot meal) and cold foods (milk, yogurt) for my child' lunch safely?**
A: This bag is insulated and will keep your food warm/cold for a brief time. It really depends on the environment that the bag is in, and how hot or cold the item is when you put it in the bag. If you are wanting to keep it cold for an extended time, we suggest you put an ice pack inside.

**Q: How has the product held up over time?   A few reviews note issues, but know most are written right after purchase.**
A: YES!!! I bought this for my son in Kindergarten - he is now in 6TH GRADE and is still using it every day of the school year!  It's seen better days, but it has no tears or rips and all of the zippers and strap parts are perfect.  It's been through the washing machine at least 50 times and it's still going strong.   Love this!!

**Q: Does it keep food warm?**
A: no it does not

**Q: Will this hold a Bento style lunch container, such as the Ziplock divided containers?  Containers are approximately 9.5x6.2x2.2,**
A: This fits a Yumbox bento container perfectly.
