Review: I have a new 40’ class A RV. The TV is ok, a Connex. The original sound bar that came with the unit was poor! I did some research to find one our family would love. This unit is perfect! The sound is very good and loud for the medium size space. It adds great theater for the TV and the music is very rich. I definitely recommend this Yamaha B20A and am thinking about one for our home den TV. Installing with the provided optic connection was easy, but I wanted one remote to control all. The HDMI ARC can support the TV remote to run all. I did have issues getting the Connex settings to recognize the TV using the ARC HDMI. After some chatGPT help I was able to get the Connex settings correct. Again, not a Yamaha issue! The remote is so/so but there is a phone app that is excellent. Pros, sound quality Bass Look Medium room loudness Phone App remote Cons, The remote No hardware to wall mount No HDMI ARC cable provided This is a good sound bar at a good price.

**Q: Can I control volume with fire stick remote?**
A: In order to get your Firestick remote to control the soundbar volume, you must connect the soundbar to the TV via HDMI-ARC cable (an HDMI version that supports an audio return channel).  Once connected, set the TV to use the sound bar as the sound source.  Mine automatically setup when I connected the cable.   At this point, you use the Yamaha remote to set the options (like surround) that you want.  Then you don't need the Yamaha remote any more.  At this point, it should automatically be controlled by your TV remote OR your Firestick remote.

**Q: my previous yamaha sound bar kept switching back to tv speakers, does this one do the same?**
A: No it will not. If you plug the sound bar into the ARC connection in the back of your TV then it will keep the sound from the sound bar

**Q: Does this use Bluetooth 4 or Bluetooth 5?**
A: Thanks for your question. Bluetooth Version/Profile: Version: Ver 5.0 / Profiles: A2DP / Codecs: SBC, AAC.

The quality of this soundbar is awesome. The clarity at which songs are played is next level. I have connected it to my TV through optical cable provided. Have tested both Bluetooth and optical cable. Earlier lag was felt when speaker was connected to TV through Bluetooth. But Optical cable changed the game all together. Though loud I will not call this speaker loud when compared to the ones in the market. If you wanted clarity and great sound effects, this is the one. Would surely recommend this product. Please note that this has built in woofer and also has the ability to connect to external woofers. The 3d sound for movies setup makes movies immersive. The Clear Voice feature specifically helps me to hear songs as I like to hear vocals more. If you are going for any soundbar at 7k rame and wouldn't mind stretching a little for this soundbar - surely take this. It's way too far in quality than the 7k with soundbars.
