Works pretty well - 2 issues - Fat as hell, blade is only 3.5 inch diam
I have 2 issues with this tool - 1) where you grip is pretty fat - seems excessive, and 2) the blade is only 3.5 inch diam, can't cut through the narrow side of a 2 x 4 in one cut - takes 2. The saw works really well and seems to have good power and cutting ability but the ergonomics and blade size keep it from 5 stars. So far I've used it on wood and steel and it really cuts like butter. I did get a brick/masonry blade but haven't used it yet. I think it's a good quality tool that should last but I wish it had a more ergonomic grip area - seems stupidly fat and it would be great to be able to cut through a 2 x 4 in one pass. I bought it bc I've not been disappointed with Dremel quality and wanted a small saw that would last. Looked at the other brands but they seemed to have a lot of so-so comments about quality and longevity and in some cases, the price was higher. I went with a brand I knew.

Good saw for tight places. Metal cutting. Plaster cutting
Nice size to use. Changing blades is simple. Used to cut outlet holes for electric in 100 year old plaster and lathe wall. Metal cutting nice with. Variable speed . Overall nice tool . Price reasonable and arrival was fast.

Used to install doggie door
This is a high quality item, especially for the price. Made of sturdy metal and included a blade that came pretty close to being completely flush. I used this to expand the hole size in a wall for a larger dog door to replace an old one. The portion of wall was comprised of 2 layers of plywood, each 1/2 inch thick and I used it for plunge cuts. I also used it to trim some boards used for framing, again each 1/2 an inch. I haven’t used a circular saw for several decades but this was very intuitive, easy to control and made clean, straight cuts very easily. Highly recommend!

Extremely handy
I really like this tool. it is convenient and much easier to use for small projects than a circular say. Highly recommended.
