I bought the Melissa & Doug Wooden Scoop & Serve Ice Cream Set for my grandson, and it has been an absolute hit! The quality is outstanding — the wooden pieces are sturdy, smooth, and beautifully painted. You can really feel the durability, which gives me confidence it will last for years. He loves scooping the different “flavors” and serving everyone in the family. It’s wonderful to watch his imagination grow as he pretends to run his own little ice cream shop. The scooper works perfectly and adds so much fun to the play experience. I especially appreciate that it’s screen-free, encourages creativity, and helps with fine motor skills and social interaction. Melissa & Doug always delivers great quality, and this set is no exception. Highly recommend for any grandparent looking for a meaningful and engaging gift!

Lots of fun for a four year old. There is a cute menu and you can rattle off orders for her to prepare a multi tiered ice cream cone with toppings and such.
