## Description

BioSkin's TriLok is THE #1 MOST EFFECTIVE brace for controlling inversion, eversion, and plantar flexion inversion. VERSATILITY: The TriLok delivers targeted unloading to the medial and lateral structures of your foot. Positioned laterally, the FootLok Strap supports and protects the lateral ligaments and the peroneal tendons. Positioned medially, the FootLok Strap Supports the plantar fascia or the posterior tibial tendon-relieve your plantar fasciitis (arch) pain. No other brace offers such versatility. CONTROL: There are two independent straps that stabilize the midfoot and hindfoot. With premium fabric and high-quality Velcro, the TriLok provides exceptional control and is more effective and less expensive than ankle taping. COMFORT: This brace is low profile and fits into most any shoe or can be worn with flip flops. The thin, breathable and soft material is made from Bio Skin's patented Ultima 2s. Unlike other braces, the Trilok has NO LACES to ensure a comfortable fit without painful laces or scratchy material denting and digging into your skin. INJURIES TREATED: Ankle Sprains/Strains, Peroneal Tendon Sprains/Tears, Plantar Fasciitis, and Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD) USES: The TriLok can be used as a preventative brace for sporting activities such as football, volleyball, soccer, basketball and hiking. It can also be used when recovering from a mild to moderate ankle sprain or when having pain from fallen arches. For application instructions visit trilokanklebrace(dot)com. A supportive ankle brace for various sporting activities including basketball, volleyball, running, football, hiking, dancing, mma, tennis, soccer, skiing, muay thai, gymnastics, cheerleading, weightlifting and crossfit.

Review: I read a lot of reviews before buying this product and honestly, it didn't disappoint me. The first 2 days was quite hard and very uncomfortable, but as I was getting used to the brace, it became incredibly comfortable and better than anything else: pain free! I have an early degeneration in the talonavicular joint and plantar faciitis, and I work on my feet the whole day. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I totally recommend it!
Review: This brace is pretty awesome, I'm not sure a better one exists. I had a lateral malleolus fracture that occurred about 10-11 weeks ago. That said it's been about 2-3 weeks of "normal" walking outside a boot on very flat feet and I've pretty much cycled through every different kind of tendonitis that exists. I was so miserable I actually went back into the fracture boot every time I had to wear any shoe other than a sneaker because my leg/ankle was so painful when it didn't have the support of a good shoe. My PT said I had to keep the leg moving to not lose my progress in therapy and I should try to avoid wearing the fracture boot as much as possible. I tried an inflatable ankle stirrup and that was way to big for a shoe yet uncomfortable to wear barefoot the way it sat on my arch. I then tried a laceup brace from the drugstore which provided almost no support and gave me an unsightly itchy rash, DESPITE wearing a sock under it where the laces dug into my skin because it was so tight when I tried to shove my foot in a sneaker (without a sneaker I had almost no support). Knowing I had a beach wedding this weekend and desperate for some sort of solution so I didn't need to wear my fracture boot or a sneaker with my dress I purchased this via one day shipping. It's probably the best purchase I've made in a long time, despite the price. It is extremely supportive, there are many options to suit whatever your injury is, and it fits within any shoe. That said there are some downsides, but as I've said I'm not sure they wouldn't be present with other braces which offer a similar support: I wear a size 7 sneaker normally and bought a size small--with the residual swelling occurring from that fracture I realized I must be almost between sizes--it's a little tight and I can't fit a sock under it however I don't think a medium would be tight enough--so I just try to take it off whenever I'm not walking as it gets uncomfortable over time. Definitely if you buy this brace for an injury like a fracture or sprain you should assume your foot is 1/2-1 full size bigger at peak swelling. Additionally it is difficult to figure out how to attach the straps--it took me about 15-30 minutes to understand how to apply the brace properly. Because there is an endless number of options for wearing the brace and it was a little tight it then took me 2 hours to figure out how to wear it most comfortably and yet get good support--I ended up not even using the white band for the PTTD like I thought it would--it really crunched my fascia next to the bone and made it more painful, which was surprising since that band is specifically for that ailment. Additionally it is a "slippery" outer material so in terms of shoes you'll want to wear something that straps to the back of your foot so you don't lose your shoe like a sneaker or sandal or something like that--NOT a flip flop. While there are some downsides to this item it brought my pain level down from an 8 to a 4 within 24 hours, the pain even after removing it to sleep was light enough I almost didn't need ibuprofen to sleep (basically I've needed to take it every night since I've been weight bearing post fracture so that's huge). And it fits in most pairs of shoes that I've tried and gives me the SUPPORT to wear most any shoe (without a heel--but < a month out from walking from a fracture this is where most people would be). So I would recommend you buy this (in 1/2 to 1 shoe size bigger then you think you'll need it) and at least give it a try, I'm really happy I did! One note, I've noticed multiple people said they sleep in this: my PT said not to wear it unless I'm walking, at least in my situation, it just sort of pushes the swelling around and can give you other issues if you're like living in it (i.e. I got a big spot of swelling above the brace, massaged it, and gave myself a nice big bruise by the next day)--but she said it's fine to walk in it as much as I want for the next few weeks until my tendonitis flare is gone. Compression helps with swelling but some of the swelling will likely travel above/below your brace so keep that in mind.

## Features

- FOOT and ANKLE SUPPORT: Plantar Fasciitis, PTTD, Peroneal Tendonitis, ankle sprains and rolled ankles are caused by weakened or torn tendons. The Trilok is made from three main components that mimic your body’s natural tendons to secure your ankle and allow a safe range of motion. These straps encourage healthy arch posture, and prevent inversion and eversion.
- CALCULATED COMPRESSION: The micro-fleece lined compression sleeve is a comfortable way to reduce swelling in the foot and ankle after an injury. Compression also improves recovery time, increasing blood flow to bring nutrients to the site of the injury. Since this product offers a high-level of compression, we highly recommend choosing a size up from your normal size.
- PREMIUM COMFORT: The Trilok is made from soft Hypo-Allergenic materials that are breathable and low profile, rather than bulky, suffocating canvas braces. The Trilok allows for active mobility but restricts harmful movements making it perfect for sports and regaining mobility.
- FIT and SIZING: If you are in between sizes, please size up for a more comfortable fit. Measure around your arch at the thickest point and compare this measurement to the size chart shown in the second image. Then measure the circumference of your leg right above your ankle and make sure this measurement is below the maximum ankle circumference. We strongly recommend sizing up if in between sizes!
- 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. All our products are backed by a 30-day, money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us for a refund. We also provide a 90-day warranty against defects in material or workmanship. Our customer care team is more than willing to send replacement parts or offer an exchange.

*by D***N on 18 April 2019*

Podiatrist gave me one of these over 10 years for severe supination issues. I hated it, thought it was too bulky for different types of athletic shoes (cleats, bowling shoes, etc.) and wouldn't wear it. Ankle issue got so bad that my ankle would just collapse, so now I use it. I find it really isn't as bulky as some of the more customized braces you can get from an othodics manufacturer and fits into my steel-toed workboots just fine. It supports my arch and just slightly pronates the ball of my foot, which keeps me from rolling my ankle with every step. Unfortunately, I misplaced it and had to find a replacement fast. Found it on Amazon on Sunday night, ordered it, and it was delivered before 9 a.m. on Monday! That was some unbelievably fast service (and free shipping). I was worried that I would have walking issues until the replacement arrived, but didn't do without it even one day! This is a superior product, supporting my ankle and arch, and preventing supination. It even helps reduce the pain of my severe degenerative arthritis. I will definitely order from here again!
