Handmade in the USA, this chic rectangular pillow is 12 inches tall by 24 inches long. Made of deep indigo, 100% linen fabric, with hand-appliqued, silk sari strips in vibrant shades of aqua, blues and sand. The raw-edged sari strips are a by-product of the manufacture of beautiful Indian saris, and are one-of-a-kind in pattern and rich color. I hand-pick and place strips the to create the applique. Perfect for your Beach Home, or any room where you want to impart the calming sense of the shore. A lovely feature pillow in a living room or bedroom! This pillow is part of my Bicoastal Collection that was inspired by elements in both East and West Coast beach towns: My photographs and sketches of a curvy porch bracket on one of the quaint Oak Bluffs cottages on Martha's Vineyard, and the time-worn painted shingles on a beach cottage at historic Crystal Cove in Southern California.
