These a nice sized hoop that is just wide enough to see. The earrings have clean lines and don't catch on my hair. I like the fact that they are not overly shiny. They are neutral enough that I can wear them for work or any time of the day. They work well for me when I travel for work, since I can use them every day. Because they are a neutral color and shine, I can wear them with almost anything, day or night. They latch closed very well and don't fall off. They are a stainless steel color of silver, not sterling color of silver. This is great for me since they match other stainless steel jewelry that I wear. They are inexpensive, which is a huge bonus. If by chance I drop one, I won't be crawling around the floor of the airport trying to find my earring, as I have done in the past. Overall, rave reviews.

I'm a guy and I wear an earring from time to time and this is a great size in my opinion. I bought both the stainless steel color and the black color. Looks great. I have bigger lobes and this fits great. Pretty heavy so at the beginning you'll feel them there but I think it also speaks to it's durability. Does not feel cheep. Great wearability and with the different color options you can mix and match them depending on the the occasion or outfit.

I was really seeking a pair of 14k gold 30mm huggie hoop earrings with a 2 mm thickness, but failing to find that, I am generally pleased with these non-gold 20 mm earrings with a 4 mm thickness as a second choice. PROS Although the hoops are small -- and certainly smaller than what I originally wanted -- the width of the earrings (4 mm) seems to give the hoops a greater presence and makes up for the small diameter of the hoops. I think they look good (see attached photo). Both the size and the huggie-style clasp make the earrings comfortable enough to wear 24/7. Unlike the more common clasp closure hoop earrings, the parts of the earrings that may rub against the back or front of the earlobe are flat against the skin, and therefore, comfortable. CONS The stem (the part that goes through the earlobe) is curved, but ear and other piercings are made with straight needles; so, the curve of the stem does not match the hole in the earlobe (or wherever the earring is worn). The discrepancy makes it a bit difficult and irritating to insert the earring, although once inserted it feels fine. This is more of a problem for people who have thick earlobes, like me. Additionally, one of my two earrings was made with an extra bit of curve right at the tip of the stem, making it even more difficult to insert. The gold color seems a bit off -- brighter than real gold. I am concerned about whether the gold color will wear off or become irritating. I will post an update to this review if that happens. In sum, for the price, these are a nice pair of earrings to own.

I've had these earrings for few years now, and decided to come back to see if they had different colors, only because I'm so impressed at how well they've held up. I don't write many reviews, but I have to say these earrings are better quality than most that are far more expensive. These are really sturdy and the curved post has never worn out or bent. I wear my black ones all the time and they still look new.

These earrings are just what I was looking for. The style is right, the weight is right, the size is right. I ordered both the polished black and the brushed black, not being sure which one I would prefer, kept the brushed and returned the polished, way too shiny for me. Easy to sleep in, don't discolor the ear, easy to put in and take out. The hinge mechanism allows for a wider opening to get the earring in and it is so easy to snap closed. I am very happy with this purchase.

Perfect understated earrings. You can wear these anywhere with almost anything.

For the price I really can't complain but I will note a few things. The gold is a realllly gold color, like yellowy gold gold which screams "not real". The sides aren't curved very much so the earrings read more squared off. The posts are fairly thick and sometimes, either due to the thickness or the angle, are hard to get in. That being said, they are fairly sturdy and probably will last longer than I will want to wear them. The hinged opening is also solid. They have a substantial feel to them. not a cheap feel.

Well, they came as expected but I was planning on using it for an upper ear cartilage piercing I have but its waaaaay too big. Probably my bad for not reading the dimensions prior to ordering. Gold hoop, but mean for the lobe. Unless you've got some real big ears.
