So habe ich das bei vielen anderen Transistor Verstärker noch nicht erlebt. Mit ToneRoom Software gibt es viele Bekanten Amps, modern wie Historisch. Die klingen auch sehr gut und nah an die Vorbilder. Hätte ich mir so ein Ding vor 30 Jahren gewünscht. Damals ging ja nur laut. Clean, Crunch oder zerre, mit richtigen gitarre, klingen fantastisch. Selber spiele ich am liebsten meine geliebte alte Strat. Clean oder mit Crunch ein Ohrenschmaus. Eine Paula mach ordentlich Druck und reicht bis hin zu higain Sounds perfekt. Wie gesagt auch leise. Also liebe Gitarreros, für alle die wissen wie man ein Amp mit Pedallen und Effekten einstellt und bestückt, gibt es von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung. The tone from this little beast is awesome, comes with lots of presets and can be connected to your phone to edit. Only downside is the USB cable needed to connect doesn't come with the amp so will have to update review after I've ordered one. The volumes between amp models will be more consistent if you do that. **Q: Does it take well on pedals? (want to use a dunlop cry baby)** A: This is a great little amp. Plenty of sound. Pedals are not a problem at all. **Q: Is it loud enough to play gigs?** A: I have a VT30 and it is plenty loud to play gigs. I use an amp stand to bring it up to waist level. If you have a big room and or a lot of people, just mic it through the PA system. The best thing about these valvetronix amps are that they are VOX amps. I honestly don't think that I'll buy another Fender amp again. **Q: How does this amp work with distortion and loop pedals like the Boss GT1?** A: I use it with pedals all the time and it works great. I have a tube screamer plugged in continuously, and other various pedals, reverb and compressors. This amp makes for a neat pedal platform because it has a unique trick, manual mode. Switch it into manual mode and the controls become WYSIWYG. At that point it acts like a regular (real) amp. There are a number of useful clean models to use that effect the pedal sound as well. The Deluxe emulates a Fender and is your stand-by clean(treble-y). The Vox AC 30(For some added break-up when pushed), Boutique Clean(Balanced), 1959 (Marshal Super Lead)(bass-y) and Blue Sky (chime-y) are all great options as well. But it is a dream come true for advanced players who know how to adjust the guitar tone/pick up/volume knobs along with amp settings to find the “sweet spots”.
