Miss Nelson Is Missing!: A Hilarious School Story About Teachers and Behavior for Children (Ages 4–8)

My daughter purchases for my 4 year old grandson. I love when my kids buy books that I read to them for their kids. Miss Nelson is missing is a great book. The pictures are engaging for younger children as well as the story.

Love this book! One of my childhood favorites. My children also enjoy reading it as well.

One of my favorite books when I was in grade school. Decided to order it for my little ones and they like it lol. We enjoy the twist at the end and also enjoy the lesson in the book

Read it as a kid, now reading it to my kid. Nostalgic and funny.

My kids love this story. It came in great quality. Color and letters were as expected they would be. Would recommend this to any family.

After seeing the video of this story, my great grand daughter came over with my son and his wife and after the hellos and “…May I have. Candy kiss.”, she came almost nose to nose nd asked me to buy her the book. I buy both her brother and her books LL THE TIME, SO I said yes nd we got on Amazon and ordered it. I told her it would be here in 2 days and in 2 days she asked to come to my house. Her grandmother read it to her 5 times straight. She had to have it read over and over until now our dear 4 year old has it memorized and “reads” it to us. SO…YES this is. Great story. It has a good lesson about being good in school or your teacher just might go “missing”. So, buy it, your child will love it.

I bought this book because I am a substitute and it’s a cute little story about a teacher who leaves her class with a different teacher. If you’ve never read it before it does have a cute little twist at the end and it’s fun to see if your students catch on. It’s great for elementary school students and it’s such a classic. I remember reading this book when I was a kid!

I remember this book when I was a kid! I read this as a mystery reader for my son's class (he was in first grade at the time) the class loved it and the teacher made a comment how she remembers that book too. I read it to my 4 and 5 year old class and they have been begging me to come as MISS VIOLA SWAMP one day to school.

I brought this book in used condition, apart from a small bend in the corner of the cover, this book was very good condition. Very pleased with purchase, I have used it within my intervention group at school. Would recommend

Ich habe das Buch bestellt, um es meinem afrikanischen Patenkind zu schicken. Dort ist die Unterrichtssprache Englisch. Ich denke, es wird ihm gefallen. Das Buch hat auf jeder Doppelseite ein großes, lustig gemaltes Bild und dazu einige Zeilen Text. Ideal, um der Story zu folgen, auch wenn man nicht jedes Wort versteht. Die Geschichte ist lustig und meiner Meinung nach für Kinder zwischen 8 und 12 Jahren geeignet. Bei Kindern, deren Mutterspache Englisch ist, würde ich es bei 5 - 10 jährigen einsetzen.

My 3-yr old’s teacher read it for them in school and my daughter insisted she wanted one at home. While the story has a good lesson in it (you never know what u have till it’s gone) I don’t really love the language in it. When the “bad teacher” takes over the class she makes the kids lives harder and says things like “keep your mouths shut” which I didn’t think was great when my little one repeated it. Much better stories out there.

My daughter and I love this book. Very relevant for today's children who often complain about their teachers, not realising that teachers these days are actually very approachable and friendly. A must read for every young school goer !!
