I needed to improve the lighting in my home office. Windows behind me left my face silhouetted, so I was just a dark outline. Blackout curtains solved that problem, but now the single overhead light would shine off my bald head, creating an equally unattractive presentation. I looked at a bunch of different lights without much luck.Then I stumbled on this one. The size is perfect, a ring a little over 6 inches in diameter. I keep it mounted at the top of my monitor, just above my camera. I only light it during calls. The bottom button (4th) is illuminated on its edges so you can hit the power button in semi-dark, which is great. For the top 3 buttons, the top is brighter, the bottom is dimmer, and the middle changes the color.There are three different colors, based on using yellowish led's, bluish led's, or both. This is important when it comes to zoom meetings. Blue light is harsh to look at, so you don't use it for providing reading light. You want the more yellowish. But for lighting your face, the yellowish one gives an unnatural color, and the harsh blue is much closer to natural lighting.So when you're on a zoom call, turn your overhead light off, turn this one on, and wait for your camera to adjust. Switch between blueish light and yellowish light to see which gives more natural-looking skin tones. Chances are your camera has an auto-iris, so dim the light one click at a time, giving the camera ample time to adjust, and see how dim you can make the light while still getting good face color.This light makes all of that easy, and is priced competitively. I sure there are lights that are bigger or brighter or more expensive, but this one fit the bill as good enough yet still affordable.

I wish it did not stick to the surface - if you want to move the light it is difficult to do because once I put it somewhere it is hard to change - I put on the wall and when I removed it - it ripped then paint off the wallThe good part is - once you put it somewhere it sticks

The first one was great, and I bought another one. I use these for lighting up video calls for work. They have 3 colors (temperatures): slighty blue, warm yellow, and mixed. They have a lot of range on the brightness settings. Having just one of these in the middle of my vision made it hard to look at the screen. Buying a second one and moving them off to the sides is a better setup for me.Be careful where you put the suction cup. They are VERY sticky, especially after being in place for a while, and I had a hard time getting the first one off my monitor so I could move it.

This is a great addition to my laptop and my work desk. I have a desk with a chest on the top, so it is dark in my work space. This light brings so much radiance to my work area. However, the light does not not screw on securely. I had to loosen the screw so that the light could face forward. But the suction cup holds the light in place on my laptop. Other than that minor flaw, I like the ring light. It is bigger than what I imagined it would be, too. I like the settings on it, because I can change it to low or high or soft.

I've had this product for five months now, and it honestly works great! I have waited to see how this product would last and I'm not sure why it has received such low reviews. It's been sticking great to my desk top, but I have found a flat surface. It's bright enough. I plug it into an outlet, not my computer--though you could do that if you wanted. I'm really happy with this product.

The suction looked like it would work great on the ad. NOPE. Cleaned and prepped the surface, seemed to attach very securely. After about 1/2 hour it just fell off. I thought maybe I did something wrong. Attached again (it was evening). When I got up the next morning, it was lying on the desk. 3 more attempts. What to do? Unfortunately, I went to get the box to return it and discovered I had accidentally thrown it out. Got out the Duct Tape. This flaw negates any good features the light might offer, so no comment on that. GET THE CLIP ON TYPE!

I am very pleased with my video conferencing light. Out the box easy to install. It's just the right amount of light for video conferencing and I don't need additional lighting to even my skin tone. Albeit an early review, just out of the box, I hope it's not premature. One recommendation for the next iteration. Make the plastic white ring a tighter fit to lock it in place. It feels very flimsy, as it would easy break.

Super brightness, great idea, but basically a piece of crap... hard to get it to stay put on the computer... the top plastic popped off for no reason at all and it's now just taped together, wonky and partly sideways on the top of a piece of serious technology. Looks pretty funny, but the light still works. I would definitely try to find a higher quality version and if you do, let me know
