Clubman Pinaud Lime Sec Eau de Cologne, Refreshing Citrus Scent, 12.5 Fl Oz

A wonderful Summertime post shave splash for Men. Its light refreshing lime scent is undeniably manly that harkens back to a day when men would visit their barber and leave looking sharp and smelling well, like Men! I have an affection for these old school barber shop scents. I appreciate the simplicity and straight forward scents that these offer. These are post shave splashes , that are meant to tighten up the skin, without being too “alcohol based bracing” and not leave a scent that lingers forever. I love this old school , simple and manly scent. My wife loves the scent on me as well. The price is so fair. I recommend all products from this brand.

I've been using Pinaud's products for years, particularly Clubman aftershave. Recently I decided to give their Lime Sec a shot and I have to say I really like this stuff. Yes, in the bottle it does have a "furniture polish" kind of smell to it that others have mentioned, but once you splash some on it changes to a nice mellow citrus scent. It says "cologne" on the bottle and the scent does seem to linger a little longer than their aftershaves, but after about an hour I could really only smell it if I put my nose against my arm (I splashed some on my forearm). Still, I don't wear these scents to smell all day long anyway. I love using them each morning right after a nice shave. They feel good, smell good and make you feel refreshed and ready to start the day or a night on the town. Oh and in case you're wondering, every woman I've come across that smells any of Pinaud's aftershaves/colognes (at least the ones I've used) has loved them all. On a side note, I don't know if its Pinaud's doing or the seller's, but my bottle came with three(!) bar code stickers plastered all over the front label on the bottle and removing them (or rather, attempting to) resulted in tearing the label to shreds. No, it doesn't affect the product, but it looks like crap and causes my OCD to flare up. This is the third bottle I've received with haphazardly placed bar code stickers and I wish whoever's doing it would pull their head out of their a$$ and knock it off. Scrape two brain cells together and place them on the back of the bottle where they belong.

Let me preface this by stating I got introduced to Clubman Pinaud due to my Barber and have been using the classic aftershave for a while. I decided to try some of their colognes, the lime sec and citrus musk due to the fact that it is summer almost year round here in the 956, and a man simply can't go around with heavier fall or winter scents all the time. I love Lime sec. It has a strong lime rind scent to it, not in a fruity or sweet way. It is a masculine scent yet light; something to sport when hitting the golf links, enjoying some afternoon beers with the boys while catching a baseball game, or laying next to the Mrs' on a warm summer evening. The lime scent starts of potent but quickly fades. And that is my pickle with this cologne. It fades and remains in a very subtle way, where someone would need to lean in or stand next to you shoulder to shoulder in order to be able to faintly smell it. The lime scent last no longer than 20 minutes and is followed by a vintage and recognizeable subtle scent which Clubman is known for. I love the product, the price, and quantity you get, but the scent does not last long at all. And yes, I'm the type of guy that likes to walk into a room of people and let my presence be known by either my appearance or scent. And this cologne has a great clean scent to it but man I wish they could make it a bit stronger and last longer!

Great value and smells great! It is a subtle citrus smell that is not overpowering.

This is great for summer. Perfect aftershave, get the kick then a nice light and crisp smell.

Tried this old brand name product and found the fragrance to be so faint, it almost doesn't exist. Compared to Royall Lyme ,the Pinaud product is much weaker. Two hours after application - it's gone. Since it's called Eau de Cologne & not After Shave - I had hoped for something with a bit more punch. Glad it wasn't expensive, though I won't repurchase.

Very delightful aroma (for me!) - mostly citrus, feels so good I use it for after shave! I am allergic to antiperspirants, so it also serves me as an underarm treatment. Downside is the aroma doesn't last much beyond an hour or so. I would classify it more for aftershave than cologne.

It's a moderately scented splash more than a projecting cologne. I add a little extra alcohol and glycerin to make it an aftershave. The glycerin makes the scent stay a lot longer. Smells like real limes and dries down to limes with a fougere background. Unisex, because of it's naturally neutral scent. I sometimes splash this on top of a bay rum to give it some lime! Love it. High value for what you get

I love this stuff. It's got a good, clean lime scent. It's just a shame it doesn't last a little longer. I keep a small bottle at work to freshen up in the afternoons.

Utilizzo i prodottti Clubman da anni, lo trovo buono, fresco, profumo non invadente e sufficientemente persistente. Consideriamo che trattasi di acua di colonia e non di profumo. Lo uso regolarmente per il corpo dopo la doccia relalandomi una piacevole sensazione di freschezza e "pulito". Io lo consiglio poi i gusti sono gusti. Consegna perfetta.
