Do these bottles sit in a level manner; straight, upright, or do they sit all askew or tilted or off center?

I've purchased 2 sets of these and they sit upright and level. They look really pretty sitting on a mirror. They are very small and dainty and my nieces love them.

Not all glass is sealed from the dyes used so be careful not to use it for food as it is meant for perfumes and not edible things.

Do these vials contain lead?

That would be a question for Crafts of Egypt. They aren't made in China or India where the chance of that would be higher. The glass is super thin and painted. It's not leaded crystal if that's what you're asking.

can you put sand in them?

You can put sand in them or liquids, however the lids don't create a spill proof seal.

The colors are really nice and look cute. I just wish there was more variety in the designs. Also, the cap is a bit short and doesn’t reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle. Everything arrived in perfect condition, very well packaged and nothing was broken. Overall, it’s still a good product.
