Like many our copper landline is very used. Virginmedia have moved us over to VOIP and we took the opportunity to buy a new phone. It was easy to connect and I like the idea of a base station that doesn't have a phone attached. It sits in our garage attached to the router. It provides a strong signal to the single handset in our hall. It is intuitive to use. Apart from ringing ourselves to test it we have had one incoming call. Voice was loud and clear. For us the only negative is the range of ring tones is not to our taste. We have selected the least worst. With the predicted lack of use it really doesn't matter to us. Our previous handset had a 'trimphone' like sound that we liked and was, for us, quite nostalgic! Overall, a quality phone that works well.

Great easy to setup phone. Love the Blacklist feature, for unwanted numbers. Would prefer a bigger list (32 limit) just to future proof it a little, but I'm no where near filling it yet. Only complaint is the volume, its just not loud enough with some ringtone, having said that it has many to choose from.

I had to make a quick decision to replace my home phone after it essentially 'died'. I have had Gigset handsets before and they are usually good quality and this is no exception. When it arrived I checked all parts were then and then set about installing it. Directions are specific and easy to read and the installation took about 5 minutes. Some other reviewers have mentioned too many wires but the main base requires 2 plug sockets and I had read this before purchasing so it was fine as I have a multi plug base available. Call and sound quality is very good surprisingly for this quite basic handset and it is pretty thin so looks good aesthetically and for the 2 handsets it was a great price.

I needed a phone to go with my new digital router, the house analogue wiring is now obsolete. This phone set is clever in that it has a base station which plugs into the router and transmits to the handset(s) which can be anywhere within range, therefore no need for any phone wiring. By the way you can still use your old telephone device with VoIP, but it has to be wired directly to the router, thus limiting where where you can put it. This set has crystal clear sound, voicemail too. Both the base station and the handset bases (for handset charging) need to be plugged into the mains. My set was for 2 handsets, but you can add more.

I bought these from Amazon Resale meaning the previous purchaser had returned them. I returned them too. I'm not sure I agree with other reviewers criticisms of the build quality. They feel a bit lightweight before you put batteries in, but after that they felt fine. I just couldn't stand the ring tones. They're all awful (OK, that's personal taste), but also they didn't cut through if I've got music on, which I almost always do. I actually felt a bit sad sending them back because they are nice, but I just couldn't live with those ring tones.

Telephone connection was being removed as the provider was upgrading the package to broadband phone only, so required a phone that could be wireless but connected to a hub. This has met all the needs. Easy to use, calls are clear and can be used in any room, bonus. Worth the money.

Only purchased to save moving incoming cable from Virgin. Nice clear phone with useful call blocking feature. No answer phone on the one I ordered

Set these up today one upstairs and one downstairs so easy to set up . look good to had cheaper from Amazon Warehouse they look brand new very pleased thanks to customers answering my question I new they would work upstairs and downstairs well worth the money.

Wir hatten das Telefon für einen älteren Herrn bestellt, der kein Internet hat. Lt. Beschreibung waren wir der Meinung, dass dieses Telefon mit AB gut ist und ohne Probleme angeschlossen werden kann, zumal wir seit über 1 Jahr das gleiche Modell zu Hause haben und zufrieden sind. Leider konnte das Telefon aber nicht angeschlossen werden, da es ganz andere Stecker hatte, was aber erst nach dem auspacken bemerkt wurde. Auch die Gebrauchsanweisung war in englisch. Also mussten wir es retournieren, und haben ein anderes Modell bestellt, womit unser Bekannter sehr zufrieden ist.

Le téléphone est arrivé, il était sympa mais grosse mauvaise surprise, les prises étaient de types anglais donc, sauf si vous avez des adaptateurs, impossible à utiliser en France. Désolée pour moi mais retour à l'envoyeur.
