Dissatisfied multiple times
First of all, I would like to state the service I was given from Kathy F was above average; however, my problem is still not solved. I have called Amazon customer service 3 times to date and I am still in limbo. I ordered a Nursing book on September 25th (book: Brunner & Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing 14th edition) the book is large and SUPPOSED to come in 2 volumes.I called to ensure that I would receive both volumes upon my original order; due to the fact that the info on the textbook online was LACKING DETAIL in this area. The first person I spoke with stated it would be 1 book and "I did not need to worry about volumes" - she assured me. Fast forward to the arrival of my book - and sure enough I was delivered Volume 2! ok so I called and spoke with an extremely nice lady (Kathy F.) who spent the needed time to look up information on her end that detailed the book did INDEED come in 2 volumes. She ordered the replacement stating she would send a "replacement" that included both volumes. Fast forward again to the arrival of the "replacement" and AGAIN there was ONLY Volume 1 in the package.So here I am with 1 copy of volume 1 and 1 copy of volume 2. AS WELL AS AN EMAIL STATING, I NEED TO RETURN MY FIRST ORDER. I have now received what I paid for. I will not return the first order due to the fact that the "replacement" order did not replace anything it just sent what I didn't originally receive. Ms. Kathy F found that the textbook did indeed include 2 volumes due to the large size of the textbook. I now have vol. 1 and vol. 2 and am not able to return the first order because I would again be without a volume.I no longer want to waste my time with this and would like the customer service to figure this out. I have been a prime member for many years and am a faithful customer of amazon. I have spent a significant amount of time on the phone to fix this problem and it is still not finished - I would like it to be rectified. I would also advise that you look at the feedback on this textbook as I am not the first one to only receive one volume. It clearly states on the cover of the book when received: volume 1 and volume 2. Please let me know how and when this problem will be fixed.I would like to again reiterate the kind and detailed service that Ms. Kathy F gave was great and very appreciated. She should be commentated for the time and customer-specific care she gave me. I would like to state that whoever pulled the original order and “replacement” order was incomplete and I would like this solved for myself and the other students that are attempting to continue to remain customers of Amazon for our textbook needs.Thank you

I received my book super fast- less than a week. Also, it's like new! thanks a bunch!

Good for me
Bought new since it is the #1 book I need for all my semesters. What the fine print doesn't tell you is that this book comes as 2 separate books (mine packaged as 1, since I bought new), with half the original in "version1" and the second half in "version 2" - it would've been nice to know that. Material is the same. Having everything in 1 book is nice so you don't have to flip through and see what chapters are where, but it's also better your back to have 2 separate. The new one has the access code for ThePoint, unsure if it actually works because I did not scratch it off.
