If Frank Lloyd Wright ever designed a knife, I think he would have come up with something like this. His philosophy to architecture was based on the idea that form should follow function. Likewise, this knife works really well for what it was designed. While, at the same time, it also possesses beautiful aesthetics! The blade sharpens up easily to a razor sharpness and the balance and feel of the knife in my hand is really good. The length (12") and shape of the blade allows it to effortlessly cut through large pieces of meat when breaking it down to more manageable sizes. It does this while giving you great control over the blade. I don't use it often so I appreciate the nice presentation box that it comes in. You can cut meat with any knife but, if you can afford the luxury of having a knife dedicated to breaking down large pieces of meat, this is the knife you should get. Also, this should be a great hit at Thanksgiving for carving a turkey. I think it represents solid value as it is not terribly expensive.

Fast delivery and a great knife. I like to buy whole ribeyes and slice them myself. This knife is perfect for exactly that. Fits the hand nicely, balanced and sharp. Amazing knife for the price.

This is a great knife and an even better value. It is even better than advertised!!! The downfall is that it is a bit short, not lenght but height. Another ½ to ¾ inch taller and it would be safer. When you put a proper grip on the knife, the edge is super close to your finger. This... along with a blad thate has a fair amount of FLEX in it, makes slicing through larger primal cuts of beef dangerous and causes your hand to become comprimised

This is serious knife. Must keep it sharp as it is for large cuts. Cuts a whole Ribeye quick and easy and chops up a chicken better than a cleaver. Again, I would sharpen before every use.

This is a quality knife that is well-balanced and super sharp. I primarily cut large pieces of meat into steaks, and it worked much better than my shorter-bladed knives. It was a good purchase and well-packaged, and I will continue to add TUO knives to my collection.

I work as a cook at a smokehouse and I cut ribeye logs daily. Freaking love this knife it came insanely sharp. Hubs resharpens it for me probably 1x a month. 100% recommended if you know your way around a knife and need one this big. If you don't really know how to use à knife you will cut a finger off with this knife

Bought this to break down large, boneless roasts into smaller roasts, steaks, stew meat, etc. The chef knives I have, though sharp, are shorter, thus require more sawing and maneuvering to get through larger roasts. This knife slices through them clean and fast.

Knife work great when I got to finally used it. My problem was shipping. When I received it the outer box was damaged. Then open it, the knife was lose and bouncing around. No safety tip on it. I don't even know how the knife got out of its box. Then the foam top got back in the little box a sealed again. Also how the knife even stayed in the big box with all the wholes in the outer box.

This knife is very sharp and cuts through meats very easily. This was the second TUO knife I have purchased and use it for almost everything.

This blade is amazing for the price. I run it on a diamond steel once or twice daily and it is sharper after two weeks of regular shop use than when it arrived.
