The sign needs to be mounted vertical, and have space for 4 digits. I also wanted a bit of free space at the top (where a 5th digit could fit) for adding my own personal artistic touch in the form of a small state flag decal. I have no idea if it will draw the ire of the town/neighbors/fire district by adding my own flare to the "standardized" sign, so I guess we'll see what happens. It bears mentioning that the local requirements call for 4" tall digits, and the ones in this kit are only 3" tall if someone really wants to complain.From years of experience sticking numbers and sponsorship/contingency decals onto my race cars, I used the wet/soapy method to place each individual digit and then used an old credit card to squeegee out the soapy water and seat each decal. The sign has not been outside yet to see if the numbers will come loose in the sun, but I am not expecting problems after using the same procedure on other pre-cut and screen-printed vinyl decals.I'm extremely happy with my purchase so far, and would absolutely buy this kit again if the need ever arises in the future..... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product!!!! *by T***I on June 28, 2018* I’m very happy with this purchase. As you see from the picture, I hung it vertical on my lamppost. Already 2 neighbors came over and asked where I got it from.. I live in a senior condo area and this sign will be a great help. My only caution is measure and lay out the numbers before you adhere them to the sign and don’t pull on the numbers as you stick them on because they have a bit of stretch to them. I used zip ties to attach it to the post. I can tell you that the seller truly cares if you are happy with the purchase. Thank you for a great product and I assure you, my neighbors are purchasing this too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Reflective Numbers at Night *by B***0 on February 5, 2020* This comes with a reflective green sturdy mounting board. The numbers are clearly white when viewed at night. But during the day the numbers are a light grey. So mounting them on a light colored surface may make them hard to see in the day time. Use caution when peeling the numbers from their backing sheet and placing them in the final mounting position. They are very thin and may have a tendency to wrinkle or stretch if you are not careful.
