Such a cute gift idea! It has a little weight to it. Very soft and cuddly.

I hesitated to buy this as a companion piece to the Pansy stories. But the other brown poodle looking dogs were small for an older child. Love it and so did the recipient. It's a nice huggable size for a 2-7 year old and was promptly dog tagged by the new owner!

I got this furry friend on a whim because she looked like how I imagined my dog looked like as a puppy. My dog unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge shortly thereafter, so now I have a sweet little huggable reminder of her. The furry friend lays down just like my dog did and she retains warmth well and has a little weight to her, so she’s been a great comfort. Super cute, seems well made, and is inexpensive too, so definitely a worthwhile purchase.

My grandma was recently moved to a memory care facility for dementia. I've read that stuffed animals can help people with cognitive/memory challenges feel comforted and purposeful. This pup is the most perfect gift – it's a good size (just right for sitting in her lap), the fabric is very soft and it's face is the right balance of cute but also realistic. The collar is a nice touch, too. I'm sending it to her for Mother's Day and I just know she's going to love it.
