Very safe, strong replacement
This was a great replacement belt. The original belt on the chair I have was a cheaply made plastic clip in type of lock. So it didn’t take long for it to just break off. This one is so much better. The lock is metal, the belt itself is a wide, durable webbing material that you can adjust easily. Attaching to our chair was simple with a screwdriver. Feel much more comfortable having our family member strapped in with this belt.

If the person has dementia I would not purchase this item as they can open too easily and try to get up.

Awesome easy addition!
I have a disabled daughter in middle school. She uses foldable wheelchairs for daily mobility. The chairs that we have purchased do not typically come with seat belts, however they are needed for her to ride the bus. This product was SO easy to install. Was on in less than 10 minutes from opening up my delivered package. Has a very straightforward little installation guide. This will work perfect for our needs, and cost was great. Adjustable strap for different sized persons. Regular seatbelt type release which is nice as most are the plastic backpack type buckles. Would definitely recommend to anyone in an even remotely similar situation!

BROKE after 2 months use.
Seat belt clasp came apart after 2 months use. I t completely came apart and is no longer functional. This unit was defective and too late to return.

Just what I was looking for
The seatbelt on my friends wheelchair was starting to not work every time. We couldn’t unbuckle it. So I found this buckle and it works great. No more fear of getting stuck. Easy to replace too.

buckle not solid
not a solid piece of equipment. the webbing is thin and the metal bracket keeps falling apart, but for the the cheap price point our expectations were not that high
