Works Great - Hope it lasts a long time
I purchased this UNIT to use in the MOMENTARY mode (to energize the relay only while the remote button is held down--similar to momentarily pushing a button) and it was a little tricky (took me about 4 times) reading the instructions to be able to reprogram it. It comes shipped in the mode that most people would probably want (to toggle a light or appliance ON and then to push the button again to turn the light or appliance OFF. Since my garage door opener receiver board went bad, I just needed something to electrically push the wired garage door button on the wall for me. This little unit (once reprogrammed) works fantastic! What I liked: - The receiver did exactly what I wanted it to do (momentarily close the contacts on the garage door pushbutton switch on the wall). -The unit even worked great with a 9V battery (used that to make sure I knew how to program it) but I then connected an inexpensive 120VAC to 12VDC adapter I got from Amazon for $4 to power the unit - I was going to uncoil the antenna wire inside the receiver (for a greater distance) but before doing that, I walked 120+ feet away from the garage door and pushed the button and it worked great! What could have been a little better: - The instructions are somewhat unclear when you are reprogramming the unit for MOMENTARY mode, but after I read it numerous times and memorized what I had to do, since you only have a short time to continue programming, everything worked OK. The trick was holding the button on the transmitter down (on the last step) UNTIL you hear the relay click. OVERALL: I like the unit and it saved me from buying a door opener receiver circuit card ($100) or a new garage door opener ($150+). If your garage door opener works by pushing the wired button on the wall, but doesn't work remotely due to a bad internal circuit card, this is a great inexpensive fix.

good unit but you need to order a 12V DC transformer to run it.
unit has a A and B channel and can be programmed for toggle , Latch , Momentary left 3 connecters are for the A channel and right 3 are for the B channel , the directions are not very clear so I had to use a ohm meter to find out where to connect the wires . unit seems to work very well so I guess only time will tell now as to how long it will last . unit can be operated on 6v , 12v , 24v DC power , I used a 9 volt battery to test it out before I installed the unit and it work just fine . for the money I give it a A for now .

Easiest to Program - No Jumpers
Unlike the one I returned, this RF relay came with a thorough, well written instruction pamphlet with plenty of clear illustrations. I simply followed directions to switch modes to “momentary” and it worked perfectly first time. It came with two transmitters pre-paired to the receiver. Changing modes from toggle (default) to momentary clears the transmitters as well but pairing them is a breeze... only one thing to note: pairing a transmitter is done by pressing one the program button on the receiver then a button the transmitter and finally the other button on the transmitter. Just remember that the first button you press on the transmitter gets paired to channel 1 and the second to channel 2. Make sure you program both transmitters in the same sequence so they operate the same way. I left the cover off because mine is installed in a closed box and controls 12V DC only (but it’s made for 120V AC also). The connectors from the relays out is too close to the edge. It would difficult to wire it and close the case (see photos).

5 Stars! Very good remote controlled relay switch
This is an excellent remote controlled relay switch. It functions exactly as described and includes a very thorough user's guide describing exactly how to install and reprogram the unit if desired. I programmed and tested it in all three modes (momentary, latched, and toggle) and it performed perfectly. I bought the two channel unit, and I was able to operate each relay independently. Each of the two relays has common, NO, and NC contacts. The circuit board is well made and includes a nice tight fitting cover. I didn't test the maximum remote range, but I did use it reliably at 100 feet. Each of the two supplied remotes can operate both channels.

One Cool Little Gadget
Works exactly as it’s described. This little thing could have about a million uses. For me it solved a problem of two different brand garage door openers with failing remotes. One is 30yr old no name and the other is a fairly new Wayne Dalton opener, that for some reason has security on par with a nuclear middle silo. This little guy programmed easily and now opens and closes both doors with a surprisingly long range. Quite a bargain if you ask me. It does require a little basic electrical knowledge based on your intended use, but nothing to be worried about.

Works so far.
Seems to work fine so far. Have it on an old garage door opener that requires an external remote switch. Both channels have to be set up the same, so the second is useless to me, but the 2 channel was cheaper than the single. Instructions say to unlink remotes to change modes and the process of relinking only does one. I kept doing it and could only get one or the other. Started trying some stuff and got both to link up, but not really sure what I did to do that.

Its good and almost great.
This is actually a pretty cool wireless system. Its versatile and the instructions are really good for a chinese product. You can set this up in many different ways depending on how you use a jumper wire. I would have given it 5 stars if the cover was a better design. the board only attaches with 2 screws to the base, both screws are on the same end so the board kind of flops around on the base a bit. The cover that snaps on pops off really easy. Other then that this thing works great and the remotes have great range. I used it to power a 3 wire motorized ball valve. it has to be set on the " light " setup for the 3 wire. the motor set up will cause the valve to fail.

Wiring instructions not great, but once done, works great.
Tried to wire 2 12V LED flood lights on it and was having difficulties. Then followed wiring instructions Howard Gray posted in his review. Both my 12V 50W LED spot lights are now individually controllable from inside my house. The housing for the board doesn't really have enough space to run all the wires, but for $15 for a 2 channel remote, I've got not complaints.

Works very well
Great item but schematic for Motor is confusing in addition the fact that I didn't know how it works didn't help. You need to provide the power to the unit which only operates the switch. Then you need to provide the power next to the output to pass through the switch if that makes sense.
