WSP Aftershave Tonic Splash 100ml (Barbershop)

After doing a search for a splash style aftershave with Sandalwood scent, I was drawn to WSP.They are to be commended on their expert shipping and handling. The bottle was extremely well protected in shipment. Other companies could learn from them.As to the product itself, the scent does not announce your arrival. It is the extreme opposite, soft & subtle with a quietly pleasant aroma.Time will tell whether a repeat purchase will occur, but my present thinking is--yes indeed!

I'm a huge fan of Creed colognes--not a huge fan of their price. So, I love this aftershave! It has great aftershave qualities (cooling, toning, refreshing, etc.) for the post-shave skin needs, especially if you're a straight razor shaver like myself. What blew me away though is the scent profile. I have GIT, and to my nose, these are about as identical as twins can be! I'd say that the top notes in this are perhaps a little more floral (pronounced I should say) rather than citrusy compared to the GIT. Oddly, I can also detect a bit of a mint note, which makes this reminiscent of Creed's discontinued Green Valley, which is cool too. As the dry down process starts, the two only become more and more similar in scent profile. I'll put it this way: this does not smell like a "cheap knock-off." Whoever did the scent research, profiling and testing has a good sniffer and got it right with good quality ingredients, which brings up my next point. This aftershave has good silage and staying power. I get an honest 5-6 hours out of it, which is just shy of what I get out of my Creed GIT. I hope WSP keeps making this for years to come and doesn't monkey with the formula because its perfect as is!

I could wear this scent everyday. It’s not overpowering, not gaudy, doesn’t make you smell like a old man/woman.It is a natural tobacco scent with fresh cut wood.The wife likes it and that’s all that really matters in the end game

Smell a little too sweet for my taste and it burns more than I like. By comparison, Lucky Tiger' After Shave Face Tonic soothes immediately and carries a light fragrance that does not stick to your hands.

WSP Mahagony is my favorite shave soap scent!! It is number one for me. I open the container regularly just to get a quick hit of the warm, woody mahogany. Lots of number 2s but this is it for my. The aftershave almost matches the soap. Just a tiny tiny bit different. The AS shave has a bit of a "hotter" initial hit on the nose with a warmer lingering scent. All in all it's a very very close match. I enjoy it very much. I will purchase the cologne soon!!! Like all WSP products they are all excellent and excel at their respective duties.

I am reviewing the Tobacco Tonic Splash: At first I was a little critical of the richness of the fragrance ... and was afraid it would be sticky after it set in. However, if proved to be quite refreshing, tame and viscosity-free after it set in. Be prepared for a very thick fragrance at first ... but you may be pleased with the woody character that develops after a few minutes. My wife liked it and she hates tobacco. Refreshing yet sensual quality. I like it for special occasions but may be too rich for daily use (for me). Not a traditional "barber shop" type aftershave. More of a night on the town fragrance.

This is absolutely outstanding. I can't rave about this smell enough. My wife loves it on me, and every time I get to shave, and put this on, I literally can't wait to get up in the morning to do it.The tobacco smell isn't like cigarettes. It's a manly, but not overpowering smell. It's lively, and has a not overpowering reminder of a cigar shop mixed with something that kind of opens your tired eyes. You will not be disappointed by this.

This is for the WSP Sandalwood Aftershave. The tonic makes my skin feel really good. Soft, and pores feel tight. I think the smell is great. More masculine than other Sandalwoods I've tried, without being to loud or offensive. Classy, clean scent, that fades as an aftershave should.I would also like to add the vendor was kind enough to throw in a bar soap sample which I also liked.
