This was going to be a present for my sister. When it arrived I had a look through and wasn't impressed, what few pictures there are being in black and white. I'll now end up keeping it for myself. there's probably some new recipes I can use but it's just not up to it to give as a present. I have three books of my own , bought from The Works and garden centers , cost far less and are a lot better.

Very disappointed in the photos. You cannot tell much by them as they are grey, white and black. The sample on the site that allows you to “peek inside” had lovely photos which give you an idea of what your finished product should look like. The photos in the sample are appetizing, as they should be in a cook book. I feel like I got a cheap photo copy of the promised book. The only thing that shows colour is the cover. A good example of setting false expectations. Hopefully the recipes are better than the presentation. It should be clearly stated in the description that it is in black (actually grey) and white.

All bread machines have the loaf size in pounds and the kneading, rise and bake times are based on that. The recipes on this book have a loaf size in servings (?), so you have to guess what loaf size to choose on your machine. Obviously, because of that, once you make your best guess, if you want a different loaf size you need to manually convert the amount for each ingredient. Not practical.

I like how the recipes has cups, teaspoons, tablespoons that doesn't throw you off when they say to add ozs or grams. The recipes are simple and are easy to follow.

Better recipes than most bread machine books. A lot of infos and great recipe. A must have.Not just recipes but instructions you normally dom’t get from the original bread machine manuals.
