Great for those of us who hate sanding
This is a great little holder for 3" sanding pads or for 3" polishing (foam) pads. I have used it for repairing automotive paint in my garage, and it's been really helpful. It provides much better control than using your bare hand, plus you don't risk having your fingertips putting too much spot pressure on the sandpaper. The shape is easier to hold than most flat sanding blocks that I've tried. The slight softness also doesn't leave you with sore knuckles.I ordered a second so I can keep one with my sanding discs and another with the foam discs in my polishing kit.

Wonderful sanding block!
These worked perfectly to sand headlights during restoration. The have just enough firmness to allow pressure for surface cutting and kept me from banging my fingertips against the frames of the headlights. The h&l backing made for quick paper change so I didn't have to pause for longer than a few seconds. Great job.

Handy but not for wet sanding endurance
Started to de-laminate the hook pad after a few hours of wet sanding. Of course I'll just super glue it back on. But will look for better quality next purchase.

Firm grip
Was expecting a soft cushion foam, but this is a nice firm easy grip ! Better then I expected.

Got this mini grip for repairing my headlights on my car. It works well just mind the pressure you use.

Great to have...
Yeah you can break out the polisher and prime a big pad and go at it for that little blemish, but why? Just grab one of these suckers and some 3 or 4 inch orange pads and engage. Should hold you over until winter prep polish day ;)

Get one if you can!
Hard to find one of these, but Amazon had it! Great, comfortable, durable. Worth the money. Velcro grabs well, nice "firmness" to this tool. Using it for sanding headlamps.
