Book of Man

Really great book. It’s nice to read about some of the men through history that we could look up to. It’s the type of book you can read a single page or several pages and take a lot from.

I bought this book for my husband who grew up without a father and very few male influences in his life. I know that sometimes he has felt unguided and on his own. Yet, by God's grace he has grown to be a wonderful man, and husband, and father. This book is more so a confirmation that he's going down the right track and an inspiration for him on this journey of life. I will be buying one for my son in the future when he is old enough. Highly Recommend!

This is SUCH a great book to read with my boys (ages 14 & 11)! We have taken to marking each excerpt with the date and our initials, as my 11 year old (for whom this copy was purchased) has already said he wants to read to his boys out of this same book; now what dad doesn't want to hear that!I'll be purchasing this same book for my 14 year old for Christmas! The lessons found in this book are timeless! I only wish this were available in hardcover!

This book is awesome for anyone. Great stories if men doing the right thing and how that affects your life.

The introduction is worth the price in itself! Present to pastors, mentors, Little League coaches, parents, and all those in positions to form character in boys, to guys to men. The genre is similar to The Book of Virtue and the Moral Compass in that each chapter focuses on a trait with selections starting for the young and progressing toward the mature reader. Get it, read it, give it!

Heard this book advertised on the radio. Bought for one of my sons and forgot to give to him at Christmas.

Excellent short stories that inspire, educate and are thought provoking. Wish that I would have read it when I was young. Good enough that I purchased copies for my son's and grandsons.

The book was nice and it will be a wonderful gift for my son.

Easy read ( personally ... some of the poetry is so-so ) ..... but great short stories relating to principled young men, and for young ladies to expect from a " good guy ."
