Hape Wooden Busy City Train Rail Set| 51 PCs Pretend Play Railway Set for Kids Age 3Y+

Received as a gift, this has been played with a number of times. There are lots of features to this train set, my son loves dropping/picking up passengers from the station, going over the bridge and level crossing. The quality of this product is excellent, this has been played with numerous times over the past year and nothing is damaged or broken.

This is a great wooden railway train set! Our daughter has played with this for hours and hours! First all three of our kids, ages 14, 13, and 9 built the set together as it was shown in the included instructions. That really helped them see all the different features and just how many different ways the tracks could be put together. Since then our daughter has rebuilt the track in several different patterns just using her imagination. All the pieces are really nice and great quality. The rail cars are a heavy plastic and open with seating inside for the included little people. The train is way cool!! There's magnets in the loads that go on the cars and they have their own crane to pull them off the train. All the little additions like the trees and luggage are a really nice touch. They just add and add to the level of creativity the set promotes. Love love love this set! Already ordered more Hape toys!

Pros: - Quality is quite good, and prices are not too much above the cheapest / plainest sets (e.g. Ikea). - Good variety of pieces, with lots of detail (e.g. the people, switching light, bridge, crane, etc are all great additions - well made). Cons: - Not really a negative, more an observation, but some pieces are pretty hard for a 3-year old. Specifically, the two items that go in the people's hands are pretty hard to get in. Also, building inclined train track to the bridge on top of tunnel / elevated platforms is a bit of an advanced skill. But it's good to have something to learn / move toward... 3 is definitely the youngest age for this set.

Jouet train en bois avec quelques pièces en plastique. Très bien adapté pour les enfants : modulable, simple à assembler et résistant. Le circuit est assez grand, ce qui offre de nombreuses possibilités de jeu. Les enfants en sont très satisfaits.
