These really work! It dries fast and provides pain relief with a punch. However, I am not sure if b/c my skin gets so hot that it dulls the feeling of pain due to my skin being hot distracting me from the pain. Which leads me to my next point, a little goes a long way. If you have never used this before, do NOT use a lot. You need to test it on your skin first b/c once it’s on it’s on. You can try your hardest to rub it off with cold water and a cloth, but you still feel the warmth, b/c of its absorption. I’d say test a small area for each body part to see how your skin reacts, b/c I have been using this for years, and I recently used it on a different body part that I have never tried it on, and I was burning for a while. Also, the latest product release is much stronger, and makes my skin hotter. But, if you suffer from lumbar pain, this is a go-to product! I keep this in stock at home!

I have periods of intense itching, where I could just scratch my forearms until they bleed. A doctor recommended capsaicin (red pepper) topical cream, which works great, but leaves a residue on hands that can be very unpleasant if it accidentally gets into your eyes or mouth. I decided to try this as an alternative -- just slather on a thick layer, wait a few minute itches, and invariably, the itchiness subsides in no time. The roll-on applicator keeps it off of my hands and makes it easier to get where it needs to go. I find it to be a particularly attractive alternative to the capsaicin when I am somewhere where I do not have access to a sink to give my hands a good scrubbing. I keep it on my nightstand to deal with pesky itchiness that arises during the night. I like the menthol scent, but I'm sure it's not for everyone. It is fairly strongly scented, with a potent menthol, slightly medicinal aroma. The bottle has lasted longer than I expected -- and I will definitely be back for more.

I've used them all and this by far is the best!! Better than Biofreeze, Icy Hot, Ben Gay, or anything else out there. Zim Max Freeze works wonders and for those who are really dealing with pain.

It does help a little with my pain level.

Max Freeze works great on sore muscles if you roll it on, give it a minute to dry, & put clothing or a wrap over it to hold in the heat that it generates. Great relief!
