I am highly picky about the quality of video as well as audio and this dash cam seems to work pretty good, especially given it's low price. I tried a no-namer brand I saw at Walmart for $15 bucks and it was absolutely horrible. I read the reviews on this one and took a chance on it, thinking there was an equal chance that I'd return it, but I haven't. I've used it for a few weekends now and can honestly say the quality is surprisingly very good. My greatest concern was quality at night, but it actually does very well. I'm an Uber driver so for as much driving as I do this thing works really well. The audio quality is also great and easily picks up any conversations within the car. My only issue is that the 3M tape is extremely sticky so when you decide to place this thing, it's not going anywhere. I mistakenly put it too far behind my rear view mirror so it's difficult for me to see the recording confirmation light and screen if necessary. So keep that in mind before you mount yours! I'd suggest having it a bit more accessible than not. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great camera, weak power supply design. I love the fact that it is basically a set it and forget it setup.Previous:The camera itself seems to be everything I wanted for under 100. The video quality is great. Setup was easy and installation was a piece of cake for the average diy-er. I took a star off because of the power adapter that plugs into the lighter. The internal plastic was weak and it broke within days. It was plugged into my center console, so it's not like it was being thrashed around. When it breaks, you lose the spring tension on the metal tab (-) connection. Thus making the camera turn on and off constantly until it blew the fuse.I would think maybe it's a fluke, but I purchased two of these and the same thing happened to both within a week of installing them. One in my car, one in my wife's car.I had plans to hardwire this directly into the fuse box with a kit I purchased along with the camera. So I have done that and it works great. That is a very easy project as well and I would highly recommend doing it. ### ⭐ AutoLover is kinda shady *by Z***H on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2018* After chatting with Amazon Customer Service, and with their approval, I'm reposting the review I deleted earlier.Note that in my review, I refer to a video.  I no longer have the option of uploading that video.I do, however, have the option to upload a photo, so I'll include a screenshot of the email from AutoLover, agreeing to a refund, after I "kindly remove my comment first."This is the second time I've tried to re-submit this review.------------------------------------I have a few A118/B40s, and have had previous versions with the li-ion batteries that eventually failed (replaced with capacitor versions).My others fit well on the included mounts, this one does not. As a result, the footage is a little shakey while driving.My others also stay plugged in. This one must barely make a connection on the camera end because if it doesn't come on, or shuts off while I'm driving, it takes a little force on the plug for it to connect.I'm going to see about an exchange, and I'll update my review afterwards.Edit: I got a timely response to my email to AutoLover, they requested pics of the issue.I don't know how to take a picture demonstrating the cord that won't stay connected, so I sent a video.Amazon removed the video from the email...So, I'll attach it here.
