Fits Singer Advance machine
I bought a used Singer Advance that had a damaged piece so I ordered this one. Because this was a "spare" machine, I hadn't used it much when I first got this piece. Recently, my machine jammed and I pulled the spare out of the cupboard. I have been sewing on it - with this part installed - for almost two weeks. I put a heavy load on the machine as I am getting ready for a trade show and pushing to have as much inventory as I can. (I sew at least 3-4 hours every day.) This part has been working out just fine.

It was exactly the part I needed to stop my top thread from snagging since my old one was broken, even though it was hard to know without one for comparison. Now if I can only learn how to sew...

Perfect for my old Singer

Fixed my bobbin issue!!!!!
I have a Singer 7422 and was in the middle of a project when the bobbin casing was hopping out of its spot and my thread was getting wound around the casing. It was slipping underneath the spring mechanism. I thought I would give this replacement bobbin a try before taking it in for servicing or buying a new machine. It works!!!! I had it in less than 24 hours I was able to finish my project ...and save myself the cost of repairing/replacing.
