How tall and wide are these?

Jarvis 5 inch high and 3 inch wide.

I did not. I used what came in the package and it worked beautifully. Happy canning!!

There are tiny pieces of paint chipping off the lid everytime I close and open it. Is this safe to still use for everyday spices?

I don’t know for sure, but I wouldn’t be comfortable
