Would this work to tie our pool cover to our wrap around deck? We built the deck too close to the pool and run the cable around over the edge

What is the weight of this product, 3.15 lbs sounds pretty light. How does this rope hold up to the sun compared to the #4 Dacron rope you sell?

Thank you for pointing this out, I verified and the weight should have been listed as 4.1 lbs. I have updated the listing accordingly. This rope will hold up great in the sun. This is made with a high-tenacity polyester fiber which has very high UV and outdoor resistances.

How much weight can this cord hold? Is this strong enough for macrame projects that will hold very heavy flower pots?

An individual length of this cord has a break strength of over 350 lbs. Typically a safe working load will be somewhere between 5% and 25% of that break, depending on the application and safety factor used. When combining multiple strands like in macrame you get additional strength from each additional length of cord used. Different configurations and numbers of lengths used will provide different results.
