Idea came from one My dad had back in the 80's 90's One similar to what I made , his was the Black steel like heavy BLK Stove pipe, Mine is made of Stainless Sheetmetal. I sandwiched 2 C channel shaped pcs of SS Sheetmetal 2 1/8"X 6 1/8" Gap X 13 " long one on top of other and sealed it with gasket meant for the Green Egg cookers, Made ends for it in brake press, mig welded one end, other end is serviceable When it is Ready MIN. 500 DG F, I slide it into the pipe position and it lights off to about 800-900+ degree and I look out at my chimney and no more smoke, or very little wisp of smoke, great reduction in Creosote in my 21' of Triple wall SS chimney. I will try to attach a pic soon , if possible.
