Make sure to use gloves, otherwise you will end up dying your nails and hands as well. Fair product and the most important thing about it is that you should use it weekly.

I've used this on/off couple years. Works brilliantly. Fair price cheaper than going hairdresser.

My hair is fairly long, down to my hips. I stopped coloring it over 3 years ago and there's a lot of gray in it now. I didn't see reviews which mentioned the kind of hair I have, so I'm adding my $.02. The pictures are after my 2nd time using this product. The first time I followed the directions for using it as a weekly treatment (apply to dry hair, rinse, shampoo, condition.) The 2nd time (4 days later - I clean my hair 2x a week) I followed directions for the daily use (shampoo, condition, then use.) I wanted to see if this product would add shine, but more importantly smooth my hair so it would brush and comb out more easily. Usually I'll wear my hair up, but it can still get some tangles. During the first time using the glaze, I was surprised I didn't need to use the entire bottle. Its consistency isn't too runny or too think, so it spread through my hair nicely. The fragrance was quite pleasant and lasted several days. After the 20 minutes, I rinsed it out. It seemed that my hair was coated at first, and not in a good way. Like you put coconut oil on your hair and realized it's not leaving anytime soon. But after the shampoo and conditioner, all was well. My hair was a little easier to detangle afterward, although I still needed to use my go-to products, Sebastian's Potion 9 and Silk Elements (like BioSilk) to make my hair manageable. I blow dry my hair just until it's dry and then hit it with a cool shot. My hair was much easier to detangle for days, plus it did have some additional shine to it. When I used the glaze the 2nd time, it was much less of an effort to get it through my hair since I put it in after shampooing and conditioning. My hair seemed a little dry after rinsing, but not really after letting it air dry for a while. I used my potion 9 and silk elements, blow dried my hair, and it feels even softer than before. The pictures don't look as good as real life. I can run my fingers all the way through without catching on impenetrable tangles. So if you have half processed, half natural (with lots of gray) long hair, this might work for you. Hopefully this will keep working for me!

I have dark brown hair and have started to use a med brown permanent hair color to cover the greys. I was a bit afraid to use a root touch up product as I was afraid it wouldn't match perfectly and I would ultimately end up with different shades of brown where the root grew out. I did, however have this product on hand that I had forgotten about. It did the trick! I used it all over my hair and it covered the grey roots and made all my greys that were covered with permanent hair color a pretty, shimmery auburn/copper. I did it again a couple of weeks later, just on the roots and it covered them! Not sure if I will use it all the time for my roots, it may not be cost efficient, but it worked in a pinch. (I only wash my hair once a week and use this when the roots start to show.). I don't really know how temporary or permanent it actually is overall, but I think this could be a good option if you colored your hair and don't like it and want to grow it all out and use this in the interim. The negative is of course the staining. If you have a stainless steel sink, use that. This product does stain and you have to apply it VERY carefully and immediately wash off wherever it drops in the shower--it is crucial to work fast. Depending on the materials in your shower, some may stain, so work fast. It did seem to permanently leave a bit of a stain on one section of my wall that I missed

Going grey isn't easy! In my 40s. This helped keep my previously dyed hair looking shiny and healthy...even though it was over processed. Grey hair (don't care) doesn't look that great as it grows out but with this glaze it added shine softness and fullness. I was so close to chopping it all off but after the first try I was thrilled. By the 3rd application my dry ends felt so smooth and healthy. I don't wash every day but I do rinse daily then restyle. I reapply this glaze in smaller amounts because of this and it still looks so shiny. Couldn't be more thrilled to have my transitioning hair look shiny. The only negative is it is not available in canada but it came in record time....before the 2 weeks as promised.
