Great cutter's sheer through 5/64-1/4" stainless Stranded wire no problem. Can easily cut through a 16D nail over and over again. Love these diagonal side cutters but remember they'll always lose against cutting through hot power supplies. It doesn't matter how good the jaws are, If you hit an arc you will damage these pliers otherwise they're amazing. Recommend. I carry 1 in my tools bags at all times.

Master electrician laughed at me because they were new and tight. And to work the legs a bit to open her up but now she falls open whenever I touch her.. yellow stripe approved.

An excellent tool.

I bought the same Klein cutters more than 15 years ago and never had a problem. I used them for my work in construction and they performed with excellence. I used the cutters daily to cut nails, hardened screws, 9 guage wire, banding ties, and numerous other things. Over 15 years of hard use the jaws of the cutters never dulled or dented. The grip material, although it got stained, never wore through or slid off of the handles. If I hadn't lost the original cutters in the field somewhere I'm positive they would have lasted a lifetime. I bought the exact same cutters to replace the ones I lost.

Love them i'm a fisherman had my old Klein Pliers for years until some idiot tried to do a float test that idiot being me anyway got my new pliers put some new paracord on the handles put them in my pliers holster and went fishing a couple of days later out to the Santa Barbara Channel Islands to my dismay my new Klein Pliers would only cut my Braided Fishing Line on the bottom 1/3 of the cutting surface the old ones would snip through the braided fishing line along the whole length of the blade so i contacted the seller who by the way was not Klein but a supplier i waited for days but no response so i returned them ordered another exact pair and the new ones cut through the braid along the whole length of the cutting surface like my original onesI know what your thinking Klein Pliers are for electricians True and there are a lot of other pliers that will do anything a Fisherman Needs including cutting Braided Fishing Line and cost less than these Heavy Duty Klein Pliers But every once in a while someone gets a fishing hook in a hand, finger, leg or some other unique place and the barb has to be cut off so the hook can be pulled all the way through so without a doubt these Klein's are the best Possible tool for the jobHeavy Duty Klein 8" Diagonal Cutters are the Best even on Hardened Fishing Hooks
