Wow, I just installed two wheels/tires on my BMW 328xi and it couldn't have gone easier. The hanger threaded in fine (a little rough on the 1st wheel but I was able to turn it past the roughness by hand) andit was easy to hang the wheel. The BMW has a really tight centering ring and once the wheel was in against the hub, the ring took the weight. Four lug bolts went in by hand until they seated and the hanger was free to back out. Added the fifth lug bolt, torqued it all and done. Wish I'd bought one of these earlier. One is enough unless you have two people doing the work.

There are plenty of battles in life. Eliminate one of those battles. This has to be one of the best tools that I have purchased, for 8 bucks! No more fighting a wheel to get the lug bolts lined up and in. No more fighting/supporting an awkward wheel trying to get stuff to line up.No fuss, no muss! Buy one!

I came to know about these from a video concerning a project I was doing. I wish I had known about them before now - struggling with a very hard to align and heavy tire on one of my vehicles.As well, used it on a fussy Rotor to get it's retainer screw in, ironic; these two made it just not a problem.I like this shorter and all one diameter style, but the others likely work as well. I feel one needs two; however, even one is a big help - esp if don't lower the tire to remove allowing it to drop on the last lug nut. I've never done that, but I guess it could happen if moving fast. I would be concerned with wheel/thread damage so never did that.It's okay value imo - should be a kit of "two" instead of singles and at a similar price for just the one. I could just get bar stock and thread 1/2" of one end since have the tap and dies and grade 2 steel stock. However, these are nice and it was a quick add-on for this one project to make it go faster. But if had the time - would consider just threading my own stock at the present price point.I hope that helps someone - from now on, it's a must have.

Works as advertised and a must have for European cars. Threads don’t seem the best quality so I cleaned mine up a bit.

This is a very simple product very little to go wrong with it. It’s still the middle of the winter so I never got a chance to use it but I did test it to make sure the tread matches my wheels and it seems to be a match. In the spring I would be able to appreciate the help I’m going to get while changing the wheels back to summer. This is the kind of device that nobody cares about but when you don’t have it, it’s such a pain to work without.
