Is this product water soluble? Does it wash out with regular shampoo and conditioner, or does it build-up on the hair with continued use?

It seems to be to me. I just spritz it on my wet hair after I've washed and rinsed it and have never noticed a build up and I've been using it for years.

Is it safe to use everyday?

It is safe to use every day. I use it on my hair every time I wash my hair in the shower and while I do not wash my hair every day if I did I would still use this product every time! :)
