It came to my house very fast, and is delicious. I just soak it in boiling water for about 10 minutes, drain it, and put it in the refrigerator to put on my salads. Plain salads with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a little chicken don't have the grain you need for healthy bones (per my doctor). I am diabetic, and I put about 1/3 a cup on my salad. It makes the salad chewy, satisfying, nutty, and absolutely wonderful and healthy. In just two days, my sugar (from my diabetes) went from over 370 (dangerous) to 120 and a little lower. My daughter couldn't believe it. Eating healthy has to include your grains. I won't eat wheat spaghetti or breads or rice. If you think bulgur wheat on salads may be "yucky".....please try it. I was shocked. I was not anxious to eat it on salads, but my friends in the city do, and they're all healthy and thin. I have to lose 150 pounds, and I know it will be absolutely possible if I continue yto eat the bulgur wheat and a little chicken on my salads. Please, please, everyone...for your health, try it. It's very simple to prepare and adds fibre and taste to many meals.
