Easy to install if you have easy access in the boat
Product is very easy to install if you have the tools to do it. You need a drill bit that is the proper size for the product which is the most important part. Other than that, it's a very simple 2 wire connection. The light bar itself is light weight, easy to put in and remove between uses. The LED lights make it extremely bright. If you are replacing an older 3 mile light, the install took me less than 5 minutes, including unpacking, removing the old light and assembly. Installing this new one, testing it and even installing silicone on mine for extra protection. Legit had it done and on in less than 5 total minutes. Super easy setup.

Fantastic stern/anchor light
Bought this to replace an old stern light. It couldn't be easier to install. The mount is made of molded plastic, not metal - so just be aware of that.

Bright as Hell!
I had to upgrade my anchor light after my dock neighbor did his. This light is really bright which is great. It only took about 30 min to install, because I had to drill a larger hole in the radar arch. Works well.

Feels like a quality fitting, couple quirks on installation
Feels like a quality fitting, the pole connects firmly to the base and I don't have any concern about it coming loose or breaking. The light is bright and visible well off plane. However, the cutout for the hole in the base either needs to be nearly big enough to be visible at the edges of the base, or oddly shaped. I went for the latter in my installation to keep the hole penetrating my mounting surface as small as possible. My other beef with installing the base is that the screw holes are at the same angle as the pole, so your screws penetrate the mounting surface at an angle. I was able to accommodate that, but why?
