Not just another ‘Think positive’ book! But...
Oh gosh! What a book! Because the title of the book is a phrase that’s soo commonly used, i ignored it for a long time, but the name kept being mentioned soo many times. I took bait and wow am i glad i did. It fits the puzzle of the practice to harness law of attraction, but rarely uses that term. More importantly it gives precise explanations of how to use the power of your subconscious mind. I felt i had read every book under this subject, till i read this. I think it’s the way it’s been explained that just clicked everything i had read in other books. Buy it, and give as many out to others who are open to this subject

Great book!
I've read this book three times now and every time learn something new from it. Although it is written in an old style and in a religious way, you do not have to be religious to use the techniques. No doubt there are those who think this book is too woo woo but there is too much evidence now to dismiss the power of our minds. I think this is his best book. I recommend it to loads of people, if you want to create change, it has to be through your subconscious mind.

The God within - worthwhile investment
Fantastic book, I sped through this in a few working days reading on my breaks at work. Very insightful although a lot is just variation on a theme. Very religion orientated some might argue but all Bible quotes cited are valid to living well and being a balanced individual. Take some of the stories about miracles or people simply repeating certain ‘prayers’ every night and suddenly being successful, with a pinch of salt. Instead, take it as more of a spiritual journey of the self, think about the God within, the power your subconscious Brain can enact on your life if you relax enough to let it. Best tip from the book, in short: ask your subconscious a question you need the answer to before you go to sleep - hold or repeat that thought until you drift off - you may be surprised of the ideas you wake up with, I certainly was. Will pick it up again in a month or two, no doubt at all.

Waffles.
This is a struggle to read. It is very repetetive, the same things written over and over again. Excellent examples of paraphrasing. So a lot of it becomes redundant. It is also contradictory, it says it is scientific. But then goes on to say a woman saw a handbag she liked and because she said a few words in her head, her husband bought it for her. Tosh.Quite a few mistakes in the writing. You can pull some valuable info from it.

Convoluted affimations
Bought this in conjunction with starting hypnotherapy. This is very similar to the works of Louse Hay, Abraham Hicks etc. I already have her books. Granted I'm only a few chapters in but I'm feeling disappointed with it. The affirmations are very convoluted. Being someone who suffers with CPTSD, I find I'm reading bits several times over. There are lots of christian references in the book as someone else points out. I'm sure there are some good points & I'll continue to pick bits out but I'm having to skim read it alot & skip big sections to find relevant information.
