Joseph Joseph Adjustable Rolling Pin with Removable Rings, 13.6" x 1.75" x 1.75", Blue

This is a must in every house, it is beautiful with different thickness, Joseph name doesnt show in your dough as mentioned in other reviews. I recommended it to my cousins as it is a must to have. Makes all your baking looks presentable and same thickness.

The rolling pin itself is awesome and I really like it. I'm rating it low because, honestly, what kind of narcissistic jerk embosses his name into a rolling pin so that every pie crust or cookie dough has "joseph" imprinted on it?! Yeah, they fail to mention that in the description. If I meet Joseph, I'm going to tell him off. Jerkface jerk Joseph. (raspberries) But other than that, it's pretty great, to be fair.

Not to sure about the durability of this which is why I only rated 3 stars. Great idea as you would expect from this name brand however I find when I am using it that the screw ends start to come adrift. My hubby says if I over tighten it will ruin the threads. If he knew what I paid for said rolling pin he would probably hit me over the head with it.

I wonder what QA these products go through as this rolling pin was unusable for it's intended purposes since the machined end parts were a good 2mm off centre at one end, and about 1mm in the other direction at the other end, resulting in larger than acceptable variations in thickness. Returning this one for a refund...

I've been meaning to replace our old rolling pin for ages, and had seen this in a local department store, but for more money than this one. I came across this on Amazon at a reasonable price and bought it. It really does make rolling pastry or anything else out to an even thickness easy, just by selecting the required end ring size. It also has measurements printed into the wood so you can measure out the size or witgh as you roll. It does exactly what its supposed to. I would have given it 5 stars but for one slight defect. I noticed it as soon as I took it out of its box. I was looking it over and ran my hand down and around the rolling pin, and it's not perfectly round! It's hardly noticeable even when rolling pastry, but it's very slightly flat on the side where the measurements are printed! It makes the diameter 0.5mm smaller at that point. Most people won't ever notice it, and you can't really see it, but you can feel it when you run your hand round the wood. I used it for pastry, marzipan and icing and it looked and worked fine. However, this is a top brand and price to match it should be perfect, but for its defect it only gets 4 stars instead of five.

Really don’t think this is real, so for the price it’s a rip off as expensive for genuine. When it arrived in an undamaged box, but when opened there was a black mark one end when you took the end caps off, a dented flattened edge like it’s been dropped or knocked, looking at loads of other jj pins the printing on the pin is so pale compared to the bold lettering, the wood also is not smoothly round it feels like it’s been rounded with long straights so feels almost hexagon shaped.
