It's perfect for the gym/locker room where you just need one day's worth of toiletries and makeup. The quality is great and seems water-resistant, which also makes it good for bike commuting because the contents will have an extra layer of protection from the rain. I think it would be perfect for backpacking as well. It's large enough to fit what you need but doesn't add much weight or bulk. There are a lot of pockets inside to help keep it organized and have easy access to all of your items. I keep shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and baby powder in the four upright inside mesh slide slots. The inside zip mesh pocket is good for keeping track of small items. I use the main compartment for deodorant and a small makeup bag. And I keep my locker room padlock in the outside zip pocket for easy access. I seriously can't believe how well-made this is and it only costs $10. I probably ordered/ tired out 10 other toiletry bags before I settled on this one. The things i loved about it are the pockets all the way around the inside which helps keep everythign inside standing up and organized and I love that it has a zipper pocket in the back that is quite large. I also loved that it could stand up straight on its own and didnt take up a lot of space (unlike some other that you unroll, or have large top zippers that make it top heavy. This bag makes everything so accessbile. I still use it on every trip I go on.
