I have a tiara I love but it has those holes to attach using bobby pins, but I'd prefer to have a comb on it.** A: These combs are not sturdy to attach anything to them. Did not stay put in my hair and I returned them. **Q: Can i cut these down to a smaller size?** A: I would not think that you could cut them down **Q: Will these hold in a French twist? Medium long hair** A: I’ve used them for that purpose and reinforced with a few BOBBIE pins as my hair is ver fine . If you have thick hair they should be fine. It’s all about type of hair and how secure they will be, I think. But that’s just my humble opinion.
