I have found that the combs tend to pull some of my hair out. Also, the construction of the combs is a wire that’s kind of looped and twist at the top. I have found it does not grip my hair properly or keep it in place. Also, it bends very easily.

I ordered these so I could DIY a hair piece for my wedding in a month. Pretty good quality, although some came bent a bit. But that was no problem given I only needed one. Hot glue sticks to them pretty well, and they are pretty light weight overall.

I had asked if they were able to be cut down to size but received no answer so I purchased them and tried it and with some wire cutters and needle nose pliers it is possible and worked well. The teeth are similar metal to that used in jewelry making or wire wrapping so its easier to cut and bend to the right shape. The flat bar that holds the teeth is much sturdier so it's a bit harder to cut. As they came they would be great for decorating or a veil. The only thing I noticed was the wire of the teeth would slide off one end or the other if you tried to squish the teeth together to much though it was a simple fix. I found sewing my material on to them was easier than with the plastic ones. They also did not hurt my scalp as some do. Great product!
